I've been reading several fanfics involving time travel lately and was wondering what attracts so many to this idea. I think I finally figured out what intrigues me.

While a lot of people have asked me what i think of the "prequels that were sequels", they think that there are glaring continuity errors. I look at time travel fics in the sense of everyone going "If I could change just one thing about the way this happened..." In essence, that is what I think of the "continuity errors" of the OT.

While I don't necessarily think they're all great ideas, I think George, like any other author, has the right to the backstory in whatever form it may be.
