Yes, I know that Tempest is already out. My friends are coming back from trips and telling me how they read through it in 2 hours flat or how they can't believe the ending. I look forward to being able to join in their ranks. After all, my good friend Jon is the guy who has gotten me such books as Dark Lord, Betrayal, Bloodlines, the Dark Nest trilogy, Outbound Flight and such and he mailed out my copy to me today.

So, in the meantime, I'm holding my breath and forbidding friends to utter spoilers. I'm interested to see where it's going next just because the entire Jacen Solo situation has smacked for the last book of Nazi Germany and obviously, people are trying to stop him. Given the number of books that are going to be in this series, I'm guessing that they'll all be very futilely trying to do so for a while now. Jacen Solo has become the Shimrra/Onimi of the LOTF series and I'm glowering at empty bookshelves that don't have the rest of the series yet.

In other news, a friend from my own Provo, UT Fanforce came back from Disneyworld today. When she left, I handed her $20 and said I trusted her judgment on what to get me. She came back and handed me a bag with two things in it:

1) Jedi Academy t-shirt. She has one in dark blue and I've been coveting it for the entire time that I've known her. She got me the grey version of the same one.

2) A lightsaber keychain. Now, what's significant about this is that it's a Darth Vader lightsaber keychain, so when you turn it on, it's red and flashing and cool, but when it's turned off, it's my very own pink lightsaber.

I love it when people justify my trust in them!
