Congratulations to Trey Stokes of the Truly Dangerous Company. Today, Allegiance came out and on page 106-107, Han has a conversation with "one of the new pilots--Stacy something-or-other."

Never mind that she's not a new pilot and that her name is Stacey. Pink 5, my favorite fanfilm of all time, has now broken into the EU!

Mostly, I'm thrilled to read this because I was told that she'd be making an appearance back on November 4, 2006. Trey PMed me to say "don't go picking on Tim because he's the new kid," since Tim Zahn is now the second person to go ahead with Trey's permission to write Pink 5. I got into that whole thing last May in a rather roundabout and unexpected way.

Anyway, Trey, congrats and Amy probably is still fuming even more over the fact that, according to you, Pink 5 would "never see the light of day."

But it's well-deserved! Huzzah for fanon becoming canon!
