OMG!!!! Make like the droids and freak out! becasue I may have discovered somthing BIG for gamers.

On August 23rd Lucasarts announced that they would be making a game with "Free Radical" to make a next generation game. read full article here:http://www.lucasarts.com/press/releases/112.html
I looked at free radical and they specialize in making First person shooters. Their past titles include all three "Timesplitters" titles. If you have never played these they are very good shooters with a good humor bit and just plain fun.

Now for the good bit

Today I was browsing IGN, specifically the Wii section and there was a new bit about Lucasarts. here is the link: http://wii.ign.com/articles/727/727616p1.html . basically it said exactly what the link said simply. then I looked and the title says "Wii" in it. I was like "omg. sweet."

Later today I was hanging with my peeps in the park (wurd ) and I told them about my discovery and one stated "ok cool"(not a star wars geek ) and the other said "Ya, I heard about that" and I was like "Huh? I just figured that out" and he says "I read about it in Nintendo Power". here are the details he gave me.

1. It is a jedi game. SWEET!

2. you control the lightsaber with the wii-mote. SWEETER!

Um, sorry, but your friend needs to read a little better. The blurb in nintendo power said that that was possible, and that sansweet noted the simalarities between the Wii-mote, and a ligtsaber, but that no new news had been released. I believe the quote was something like: "LucasArts uses a Jedi mind trick to make its intentions loud and clearduring comic-con--then vanishes without really having said anything." They go on to say they want to innovate, etc.
