Independentjacs History With Star Wars

WHAT!?!?!?! Independentjac has a history with star wars? I always figured he just appeared out of nowhere one day and signed on to the blogs and never got off (almost true). But nope, I gues this guy has a few Star Wars memories he would like to share with you all. all inspired by my good friend Jedi Master Michael and this blog.

# -1 Before Star Wars
No, This is not before 1977 this is before I ever saw the movie. I gained some star wars fandom and insentive to become from my dad. something he probably now regrets . I remember playing Star Wars with my friends in pre-school....probably one of my first memories. I remember none of us had seen the movies we just were having fun. My friend whom I have not seen in years named luke was Darth Vader (makes sense eh'?) I was luke and then my friend kyle was my pet yoda. LOL....I also remember having a "Star Wars, The Birthday Cake" with all the figures that I lost years ago.....

# 1 My First Experience with Star Wars
Wow....this was years ago.....I love looking back on this....anyway. I was not very interested in Star Wars when I first saw it. I was more interested in the popcorn I got to eat while watching it. I payed very ittle attention...I cannot even remember if it was ANH or RoTJ, both seem to be very possible, I just cannot remember which. Another thing I remember was the little animated adventures of the Ewoks and Threepio and R2 adventures.....note the picture

# 2 Seeing Episode I for the First Time
I cannot remember how soon I saw TPM after it came out but I know that my dad had already seen it a while ago. I saw it with my mom. She prettymuch knew as little as I did. I closed my eyes when Qui-Gon got stabbed....but I liked the movie.

# 3 Seeing Episode II for the First time
I remember seeing this one with my two dear cousins. Both geeks like me, we went on the first weekend.....it was still packed......but I remeber it was AWESOME! It was was so much fun....This is when I began to really get into Star Wars. Seeing this movie for me was probably the closest thing to you older ones seeing ANH in '77. The Special Effects, the story, the action.....I loved it....now that I know better, episode II is not my favorite anymore, but I still loved that experience.

#4 Begining to get into Star Wars
AoTC got me into Star Wars....I, just a few months later was taking a plane trip and my dad let me buy a book at the airport. I bought *leaves for room, looks in bookshelf, wipes of an inch of dust* AH! "Star Wars, Jedi Quest, The Way of the Apprentice" . Looking back, I doubt I understood it, but i loved it. When I returned home, before I left the airport I bought the seccond one. This is when I realized wh I love Star Wars. IT IS SO BIG! I can never know it all, and when I know more it makes me want to know even more.

# 5 Star Wars through my time
I soon, got my best friend into Star Wars, and we competed. We may not have admited it then, but we did, I had to know the most. when I went to his house it was always "Why is Darth Vader in his suit?" and he would say "He fell in lava while fighting with Obi-Wan in his final battle". When we were 9. we were obbsessed. It was fun

#6 Me, Star Wars, and Today.
Today, I try to look at, if not comment on all of the blogs, and I am pretty successful. so bloggers, remember, even if you do not get many comments atleast I read it (I know, you are jumping for joy, eh')! I try to read star wars book, but I do not get much done. I love being challenged to go read a wookieepedia article and find something, so do it more.....

One more thing, my last Grandpa' is within' days of dying. I personally do not pray, but i would appreciate it if you did for him. thank you all
