Utinni: The scavenged Jawa roster!
M'um m'aloo ! In this blog roster I've tried to collect every named Jawa in the SW movies. Since a lot of Jawas look a like, we can best identify them by their position in the movies.

Though Jawas appear in four movies, not a single Jawa from the prequels has been identified. Most Jawas have been named in the CCG by Decipher and more recently in the excellent Visual Guides on SW.com. Unfortunately, the Visual Guides haven't been published in months. If they would ever return, we can expect to see some more Jawas receive their name!

A New Hope
- Dathcha: The Jawa scout who blaster Artoo Detoo.
- Enjikket: Brother of Yeelhoy. Helps to put the LIN unit in place during the Auction.
- Ezjenk, the restrainer: Put a restraining bolt on Artoo Detoo. Wore a cuirass made from Woodoo (a big non flying bird) leather. Used the Caller to restrain Artoo during the Auction.
- Het Nkik: Was the Jawa in Chalmun's Cantina who traded with the Ranat named Reegesk. Picture taken from Pablo Hidalgo's old 'Star Wars'-index, a predecessor to the Visual Guides.
- Iasa, the traitor of the Jawa Canyon: Friend of Kalit. Inspected Luke's X-34 when parked in front of the Cantina. Was thought as being disgusting by Threepio.
- Jek Nkik: Accompanied Dathcha. Related to Het Nkik.
- Nebit: Leader of the Jawa clan who sold Artoo and Threepio
- Pachwenko: Called 'Patches', wears a light brown cloth during the Jawa auction.
- Thedit: Ally of Kalit. This is a problematic appearance. Thedit is placed in front of a neutral background and is a fine example of Decipher's background magic. I believe he is one of the extra Jawas from the special editions. In the picture he looks a lot like the Jawa on the right.
- Thedit on a production picture?
- Ukchet: Another Jawa scout who spotted Artoo Detoo
- Uutkik: Another Jawa scout who saw Artoo. Appeared first on an unclear Decipher card with background magic. He was retconned later in the movie with an appearance. Het Nkik cousin.
- Yeelhoy: Brother of Enjikket
- Zubwen: A very tall Jawa nicknamed 'The Tower'

- Daroe: Is a Jawa put in front of a neutral background by Decipher. Since he has dealings with the Empire we could presume that he appears 'somewhere' in the movie.
- Het Nkik clone: 'Wizards of the Coast' also names a Jawa Het Nkik. He's placed in Jabba's Palace (you can see the Nimbanel in the background). This can't be because Nkik was dead by then.

Unnamed: Since it's hard to see which Jawa is which, there are still unnamed Jawas in 'A New Hope'. It could be that these are already named but until proven, we don't know. I guess we have to wait until (and if) the Visual Guides return.
-Sleeping Jawas

Return of the Jedi
- Aved Luun: Was the mate of Kalit and is seen aboard the Khetanna.
- Herat: Was the female shaman of Wittin's tribe. Seen fanning Jabba.
- Kalit: Jawa Chief, seen lurking in the Rancor Pit.
- R'kik D'nec, hero of the Dune Sea: Legendary Jawa who told tales about defeating Krayt Dragons and Sand People. Decipher placed him in front of a neutral background.
Is R'kik D'nec the Jawa on the right?
- Wittin: Jawa warlord that stood close to Boba Fett and Bossk in Jabba's Palace.

Unnamed
- Jawa talking to Beedo: Who is this Jawa talking to Beedo. Is it Kalit or another Jawa?

The Phantom Menace
- Who are the Jawa's who are watching the Boonta Eve and who are hanging around to scavenge crashed Podracers?

Attack of the Clones
- Who is the Jawa leader where Anakin talks to when asking directions to the Tusken Raider camp?

The most important Jawa's in the movie have been verified but it's sometimes difficult to identify some of them because they look very similar to human eyes.

We must hope the Visual Guides will return to expand this blog and the Jawa's in the Saga.
