It's obviously been quite some time since I last put an entry here...but coming into work for the first time in the new year I've decided to resume blogging (at least more than just a few times a year ).

I suppose one of the biggest events since my last entry was the introduction of another Star Wars fan into the world in June. My wife & I welcomed our first child into this crazy world on June 30th. Madeleine Elizabeth is our new pride & joy with us enjoying all 6 months of her existence so far. Of course as any good parent should do, when she was 4 days old I had her on my lap and we enjoyed the goodness that is A New Hope. Had our hospital room contained a DVD player I of course would've fired up ANH there but alas we had to wait a few extra days to get her used to the wonderful world of Star Wars.

Other than that excitement not much went on during the year other than getting ready for the baby and then taking care of the baby. I did do some reading, but no Star Wars books. I decided to read Lord of the Rings again and that took me a bit longer than expected, so I got a bit backed up in my Star Wars Insider reading as well. I'm finishing up the last 2 issues now before I jump back into my EU adventures.

For Christmas I got 3 more of the Jedi Apprentice books (only 7 more to finish that series off) and the Making of Star Wars book. I then went out and picked up the Star Wars Vault & the new Darth Bane novel, which I actualy forgot was coming out already. So, hopefully soon I will be able to add a few more entries for Star Wars book reviews and random other exciting news.

Another fun addition I've added to my weekly routine is finally listening to the ForceCasts from TF.N as Microsoft added podcast support to the Zune. I can't believe I waited so long to start listening to those, but I've enjoyed listening in and keeping the Star Wars excitement alive and well within myself. I have ebbs & flows for daily SW interest, but it seems that now I find myself more immersed and adding to my knowledge bank of SW data. Hopefully returning to the blogs here will add to that as well.

Here's to keeping at least one New Year's Resolution and remembering to keep adding entries here and reading through everyone else's blogs
