Wii Force Kinda-Unleashed
I'm sure this has been discussed in the forums (I don't go there that often, not a big fan of the setup but that's another story) and elsewhere, but though I would put out my 2 cents after seeing the footage on Spike last nite.

Part of me was excited shortly after I acquired a Wii and had read a bit about the Force Unleashed coming out & utilizing the unique capabilities of the Wii-mote. Now I'll admit other than the titles put out by Nintendo I'm kinda ho-hum about the games currently available though I do enjoy Smash Bros, Zelda, & Mario Galaxy. The more I read about TFU coming out the more I began to regret my decision to get a Wii as I learned the gaming engine was not the same as what the 360 & PS3 were getting.

Of course I understand that Sony & MS have higher powered consoles but I wasn't aware that the Wii would not be getting the same engine. Though the game 'should' be the same I'm a bit saddened that I'll be getting a dumbed down version of the game. The Duel Mode doesn't excite me that much, but at least it's something different.

Perhaps in the end I'll end up getting a PS3 for the Blu-Ray player & end up double-dipping on the game to get the Euphoria engine feel of the game, but for now I'll be stuck with my NES-style game engine and a nice conversation piece in the Wii :)

At least you have a Wii. I'm still throwing intermittent hissy-fits because it's not coming out for PC.

I completely agree with you I have both the Wii and PS3 and even though I really like the sounds of the Wii Duel Mode and swinging a Wiimote like a "Wiisaber", the PS3 graphics are just stunning. I'm torn on which I want more but who knows I may end up bitting the bullet and grab both versions.

Exactly, aside from those and a few others games there's not much of a chioce. My brother and I play Smash Bros. at least 2 hours every day. :D I'm really looking forward to TFU and am still glad to have a Wii.

Gahmah would also recommend Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (and if you haven't played the previous two games on the Cube, Gahmah would recommend them too) (and yes, Gahmah's enjoying Brawl, Galaxy and TP, too. Excluding Wii sports, those four games are the only Wii games Gahmah has currently)

As far as TFU goes, the graphics may not be on par with the 360 and PS3, but at least Gahmah's glad they made them a little better than the PS2 version, which tells us LA isn't totally slacking off with the Wii graphics, like most third-parties. And like they said, they are working hard to make it so that player will always feel like a badass on all platforms the game is on. Gahmah's not too picky about graphics, though.

Well, be glad you have SOMETHING to play it on. Wouldn't having nothing be worse?
