I was shocked when I read this, knowing that I had written the exact same thing in my very first blog entry!!!

In case you're slow to catch up (I won't blame you, I sometimes have a confusing effect on people), that was a joke. The title of this blog entry is a joke, a lie if you will. I do not consider a reference to the same Queen-song to be plagiarism. But I got your attention, didn't I?

On a slightly more serious note, I thought this was very interesting. Being both a Harry Potter-fan and a Star Wars-fan, I had in fact noticed many of the same things. I had even considered using this as a topic for a blog entry, but it would never have turned out this good. I am actually a bit relieved that I have an excuse not to do it.

Mr. Handley does a good job capturing most of my observations, and he has also noticed some things I hadn't. I had also picked up on a few similarities he doesn't mention, but that doesn't matter much.

By the way, this reminds me of an anecdote Ian McDiarmid told at Celebration Europe. It involved his nose, George Lucas and Lord Voldemort. Anyone else remember that?
