Lomi Plo
(Human female from Dathomir)
One of the Nightsisters of Dathomir, Lomi joined the Dark Jedi Brakiss' Shadow Academy and became a Dark Jedi herself. She then took another young Dark Jedi, Welk, as her apprentice. When the Shadow Academy was destroyed Lomi and Welk fled into hiding.
Four years later Lomi and Welk were captured by the Yuuzhan Vong and placed into a voxyn training ground on a Worldship above Myrkr. They then encountered a group of infiltrating Jedi Knights led by Anakin Solo. Lomi and Welk helped the Jedi to repair the damaged freighter Tachyon Flier but then betrayed the Jedi and stole the ship, with the injured Jedi Knight Raynar Thul aboard. The ship was damaged by the Yuuzhan Vong pickets and, following an uncontrolled journey through hyperspace, crashed in the Unknown Regions. Lomi, Welk and Raynar were all severely burned in the crash, but Raynar pulled the two dark siders free of the crash. The three of them were then cared for by the Killiks and subsequently absorbed into the collective consciousness as Joiners. Lomi and Welk took control of the Killiks collective unconscious and formed the so-called Dark Nest, blinding Raynar and the other Killiks to their existance.
Five years later Lomi, Welk and the Dark Nest began fomenting a war between the Killiks and the Chiss from the moon Kr. They then lured Jedi Knight Alema Rar to the dark side and made her a part of the Dark Nest. When Jedi Masters Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade-Skywalker attacked the Dark Nest on Kr, Lomi witnessed Welk's death and then fled with Alema.
The following year Lomi and the Dark Nest joined the other Killiks in breaking the Galactic Alliance's blockade of the Utegetu Nebula. She was confronted by Skywalker, but was able to use his own doubts to block herself from his vision and thereby escape. She was confronted by the Jedi once again at Sarm and once again used her power on Skywalker, as well as injuring Jade-Skywalker and Jedi Knight Jacen Solo, before escaping once more. Lomi then travelled to Tenupe and boarded Raynar Thul's flagship, the captured Star Destroyer Admiral Ackbar. There she once more faced Skywalker but was unable to use her power to escape and was subsequently killed by the Jedi Master.

Ludo Kressh
(Sith male)
A Lord of the Sith Empire whose base was on Rhelg, Ludo and his chief rival, Naga Sadow, vied for the title of Dark Lord of the Sith when the previous Dark Lord, Marka Ragnos died. When Sadow used the discovery of the Republic to grab power, Ludo and the Sith Lords Horak-Mul and Dor Gal-Ram launched an assault on Sadow's fortress on Khar Delba. They soon discovered that the fortress was a decoy and that they had been lured into a trap when Sadow's fleet emerged from behind the moon Khar Shian. When his allies were killed, Ludo was forced to flee for his life. When invited back to Khar Delba to talk with Sadow, Ludo instead sent a decoy ship which Sadow destroyed. Believed dead, Ludo began to scheme in secret. When Sadow launched an ill-fated war on the Republic, Ludo used Sadow's absence to unite the remaining Sith Lords behind him. Ludo then waited until the defeated Sadow returned to the Sith Empire. Ludo then tried to destroy Sadow but was defeated when, in fanatical loyalty to Sadow, several Massassi-crewed ships rammed his Sith Battleship, killing him.

Lumiya
(Human female from Coruscant)
Originally she was the Imperial Intelligence agent Shira Elan Colla Brie but, whilst on mission to infiltrate the Rebel Alliance for Darth Vader, she was shot down and severely injured by Luke Skywalker. After the Empire recovered her decimated body Darth Vader ordered Imperial medics to rebuild it with cybernetic implants and enhancements. Shira Brie became Lumiya, the Dark Lady of the Sith, as her rage magnified her connection to the dark side of the Force. Vader then presented her to Emperor Palpatine as one of his Emperor's Hands. Months later Lumiya travelled to Ziost where she constructed a Sith lightwhip. Upon her return, she found that both Vader and Palpatine had been killed at Endor. Lumiya then allied herself with the mysterious Nagai and confronted both Leia Organa and Luke Skywalker. Lumiya joined the deadly Tofs when the Nagai and the Rebels formed an alliance to fight them. After the Tofs' defeat on Saijo Lumiya found herself adrift. Lumiya then accepted a fleet of warships from Ysanne Isard to hunt down Mara Jade, but instead of fulfilling her end of the bargain, Lumiya took the ships to set herself up as a minor warlord.
Later Lumiya trained the Imperial Guardsman Carnor Jax in the ways of the dark side.

Luuke Skywalker
(Human male from Wayland)
Created on the orders of the Dark Jedi Joruus C'baoth on Wayland, Luuke was cloned from the hand lost by Luke Skywalker on Bespin six years earlier. Luuke's mind was wiped by C'baoth, making him an extention of the Dark Jedi's will, wielding the lightsaber that had previously belonged to both Luke Skywalker and Anakin Skywalker. Soon Luuke was commanded to face Luke and, empowered by C'baoth and the dark side, Luuke was able to overcome his template. As Luuke moved to deliver a killing blow, however, Mara Jade attacked him, striking him down and killing him with Leia Organa-Solo's lightsaber.
