Into the Light, I Command Thee!
I just bought the Constantine DVD today. It's great! The slew of deleted scenes were great. If you haven't seen Constantine, rent it. It is a phenominal movie about Religious Dogma. If you haven't seen the movie, do not read any further unless you like spoilers :D.

Constantine is based on the hit comic. The story is about John Constantine, a man who is trying to "buy his way into heaven." John was born with the ability to see things, he had no idea what they were at first and It drove him crazy. His parents attempted to help by giving John shock therapy. John died for 2 minutes and went to Hell. There he learned the truth about his abilities. At the beginning of time, God and the Devil made a wager for the souls of all Mankind. The bet was to see which one (God or Lucifer) of the two the humans would follow. Since angels and demons can't crossover to the human plane, half-breeds where created. They served as watchers and maintained the "balance" between the to sides.

John came back with this knowledge and something else, because of his abilities he was doomed to go to Hell once he died. In an attempt to counter this, John started deporting half-breed Demons back to hell. John had killed so many, that Lucifer determined that once Constantine died, Lucifer himself would come and claim John's soul. John also acted as an exorcist, removing demons from possessed humans. But to his dismay, his efforts got him no where, he was still destined to go to Hell when he died.

And that's where the movie starts, I won't tell you anything about the movie. If you've seen it then you know, if you haven't, go rent it if you want to find out what happens. This is Keanu Reeves best movie next to The Matrix. He does excellent acting and is very convincing as the legendary John Constantine. As always, Enjoy! :)
