Don't Be a Die-Hard Fan. Be a Good Fan.
If you read my blogs a lot, you probably know that I have some grudges (not big ones) against die-hard fans.

Why? Well, I'll give you a few reasons.

First, this blog is to tell why you shouldn't be a die-hard fan.

Die-hard fans aren't really true fans. They are the corrupt fans.

Die-hard fans are the ones that are just trying be cool by trying to show antipathy towards certain things, such as Jar Jar, Ewoks, General Grievous, Greedo shooting first, the prequels, Darth Vader's "Nooooooo!" line, ect. You get the picture.

They might be becoming something they really aren't. They might be losing their humanity, well, spiritually.

They can't accept changes in a character's personality, but this is really part of character building, which is part of the archetypal conflict. In fact, they can hardly accept any change at all. Why the change? Well, it's not just about the old fans, it's about getting some younger people into the saga, during their era, because they may not look to highly on the old versions.

They are the ones that deal in more absolutes than us.
Example: "You can't like Star Wars if you don't hate Jar Jar."

They are very chauvinistic towards anything that isn't Star Wars.

They are very chauvinistic towards the EU.

They might have grudges against little people and little kids (how could they?! They used to be one of them!).

These might be the ones that really don't have a life.

I think the die-hard fans are probably the explanation as to why Star Wars is considered as a geek thing (I'm not calling anyone a geek here). This is probably coming to light with the die-hard fans wearing those "Han shot first" T-shirts. Who cares who shot first? It could've been worse, like Greedo killing Han instead of Han killing Greedo.

If they call themselves Jedi or true fans, they are wrong. They have fallen to the REAL dark side of Star Wars fandom.

If you have any comments, go ahead and leave them, but if it is a rude, die-hard fan statement.................OUT WITH YOU! (wow, I sure do a lot of "go away" statements to die-hard fans in anti-die-hard-fan-propaganda [meaning anti-propaganda for die-hard-fan propaganda] blogs).

If you can't find any of my other entries check them out.
