Yet, possibly another one of those anti-die-hard fan propaganda blogs by Gahmah.
Okay, maybe not. The point of this is really to get an idea of why the Ewoks were able to emerge victorious over the 501st Legion.
The anti-Ewok fans might question their victory by saying, "Stormtroopers have guns and armor! Ewoks have sticks and stones!"
Well, first off, remember the saying, "Sticks and stones break your bones, but words can never hurt"? Look at it. It's not the "words can never hurt" factor that comes to light, but the "Sticks and stones break your bones" factor.
Then the anti-Ewokists might question it with armor. Now, let's look into the armor of a stormtrooper.
The armor is light reflective armor, so it's meant to protect against blasters, which is probably the most common weapon of that era. However, it does not protect against physical impact, as seen when they land a distance from where they were standing before being killed.
Most importantly, the Ewoks don't blasters, except for one particular member (and I wonder if he knew how to use it). So the Ewoks had an advantage here (as well as their terrain). These rocks aren't just tiny pebbles (those things would have to be heavy to hurt) and the spears might have pierced through the body-glove.
So the results are like this:
Vs. Blaster Shots - Armor
Vs. Sticks and Stones - Coat of Plastic
There you go. An explanation as to why the Ewoks emerged victorious.
Feel free to leave a comment, but no anti-Ewok propaganda......OR ELSE! *mouth starts foaming* (Why didn't I get my rabies shot? Oh wait, Gahmah's people don't usually get rabies.)
