I got some information on the special units in Battlefront 2, old and new (some of the old ones had their weapons changed).

Rebel Alliance:
Wookiee Warrior
Bothan Spy

Empire:
Dark Trooper
Imperial Officer

Republic:
Jet Trooper
Clone Commander

CIS:
Droideka (Destroyer Droid) (it can move sideways and jump up in the air while rolling now)
MagnaGuard
