In Battlefront 2, I noticed that in space battles, the Rebels' troop transports are confusingly......LAAT/i Gunships.

Where did they get those?

First, those gunships belonged to the Old Republic, which eventually became the Galactic Empire.

Second, the Rebel Alliance is fighting against the Empire.

Third, shouldn't the Empire be the only faction in possesion of them?

What I think is maybe the Rebel's stole them.

Comments are welcome, but....you don't need to hear it, because you might be getting tired of hearing it (I hope you people know what I was going to say).

Something else that confuses me, I didn't know the Republic still had Acclamator-class assault ships during the late Clone Wars, because I thought they were replaced with the Venators.
