This comes from the third paragraph of the opening crawl for Revenge of the Sith. There has been a lot of talk in these blogs about inconsistencies between the classic and prequel trilogies, but how about inconsistencies in the same movie?? Now, before you can say this paragraph is true "from a certain point of view" check this out:

The third paragraph in the opening crawl of all Star Wars movies is always "what is happening right now" so if that paragraph was accurate, then Anakin and Obi Wan would be flying into the Capital to stop General Grievous and his boys from escaping and not flying to his ship.

I know how the last episode ends of the second Clone Wars series and it's obvious in ROTS that General Grievous just got back to his ship. However, I don't believe the wording of the last paragraph matches what is actually happening when the movie begins.
