2007 is the 30th anniversary of Star Wars. Currently there is talk that there will be another Star Wars Celebration event to commemorate this. The last Celebration (Celebration III) was held in Indianapolis, IN. While the Indianapolis convention center will be undergoing construction during 2007, the main area in which the previous convention was held will supposedly not be affected.

Rumors also exist that this next possible convention may be held in either Chicago or Las Vegas. Most signs point to it staying in the MidWest due to its central location.

My opinion is that another celebration will definitely happen in 2007, especially given the news that there will be 2 new TV series in the coming years.
