Finally!
Ahh, finally after years of reading others blogs and wishing I had the money to spare to join Hyperspace (starving student who chose to abstain from star wars rather than starve, pathetic I know) my wonderful little brother bought a membership for me for christmas. So here I am, and hopefully there will be more wonderful blogs from all of you that I will finally be able to argue with :)
But the reason I am writing today is a dilemma I have that I hope you all will be able to help me solve. I'm getting married and want nothing more than to have a Star Wars wedding (yes, and I am a girl). Stormtrooper ushers, Sarlacc overhanging the altar, R2D2 ringbearer, C3PO flower girl, the works. But my boyfriend says no. He makes claims of embarressment and some such nonsense. Claims he doesn't even like Star Wars (why are we getting married again?) If it were up to him we would have a wedding with myself, him and the guy who makes it legal. So my thought is that if he's already going to be miserable, I should be happy, right? Right?!? I did already get a Han and Leia cake topper, so at least I win in that respect. What should I do? Can I trick him? Marry a Star Wars fan in the morning, get an annullment, and then marry him? Help me Kenobifan, you're my only hope! (All others, feel free to be my only hope as well!)
