I've officially crossed the line. We were given 10 minutes to come up with a final project idea for my english class yesterday, and guess what I did. It's now my sole responsibility to find connections to ancient texts in the star wars universe. And since everyone else chose a "real" project mine has to be extra good or I don't pass the class, which means I only get an astronomy degree and no english degree with it, and that would be sad. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. So far I've seen Odyssey connections and Metamorphoses connections (Anakin-Vader) but that's about all I've got so far. You guys are nerdier than me, right? Help! And on a completely different note, go see V for Vendetta. It almost made me question The Empire Strikes Back as my favorite movie of all time, almost. And one more random thought since I'm good at it. We've convinced our friendly neighborhood senator to deliver a letter to the president entitled "So this is how democracy dies, to thunderous applause". I know I know, I rock. Laterz bloggers!
