The Star Wars Alphabet - T
Will "T" be the talk of the town?

Unlike my previous entries which have been either droids or characters, I was fluctuating between 2 opposite choices for my selection for "T". I did have some choices that were characters (Tarfful and Tion Medon), but ultimately I picked Tie Fighters.

These spacecraft were so different from what had been seen in sci-fi films prior to the release of A New Hope. They were not flying saucers or rockets. I also liked how they roared through space and could spin. As an added bonus, Stormtroopers flew them and even Darth Vader, my favorite character.

Additionally, it was a fun Kenner toy. It made noise and the wings could pop off. You could also fit a figure inside the cockpit. I don't think I ever had a Tie Fighter Pilot figure, so I am sure I used Stormtroopers.

My other top choice was Tatooine. This planet makes appearances in 4 of the 6 films. It is home to both Anakin and Luke Skywalker. I have been to the desert before (not on a horse with no name), but don't think I would want to live there.

Honorable mentions include: Tion Medon (who I hope will appear again the live action series), Tarfful, and the Tantive IV.

Next week, I will wrap up the remainder of the alphabet. Until then, may the Force be with you!!!

"T"a da!! Great choice!!

I like TIE Fighters as well. They're just cool! And I also loved playing with mine and popping the wings off when I was a kid. :)

Wow, a figure would fit in them? Impressive for a toy. Good choice! I'm looking forward to seeing whom or what you picked for "X" and "Z".

Nice choice... I was expecting Tatooine, however Tie Fighter is a better choice... and Tatooine was in each episode but Ep V. I wish I was young at the time of the originals when I could have played with the OT toys.. the Ties and the DStar, and all of those other great ships.

Keep up the great work... only 5 letters to go!

Nice choice, though Tatooine is another prime candidate. But Tatooine was in ROTS, at the very end. Just because it didn't have a significant role, doesn't mean it wasn't there!
