Well I was lucky enough to see ROTS yesterday with a friend of mine who isn't even really a Star Wars fan. She wanted to be a part of the event and she knew I liked it and wanted to share in the experience so that helped.

As for the movie, it starts out a little slow, the visuals of the space battle were great, but the actual battle was not up to par with the visuals. But it was nice to see a full blown fight in space again in these movies

next point (not these are not all in order lol) General Grievous. For those that fell in love with the character in the Clone Wars cartoons and other such EU material, you are not going to be happy with him in the movie. One of the letdowns to me. While the digital work on him is good, they make the character unintimating and almost a coward in the movie. His fight with Obi-Wan is short and GG looks like he doesn't deserve to be there.

As for Anakin's fall, watching the first 2 parts of the PT, I really could care less about him "falling" and even though I knew the reason he became evil after watching the TPM, nothing seemed believable enough as to why he would CHOOSE to go to the dark side. However, ROTS made it more believable than I thought and I bought the reasons given in the movie. Not all great ones, but I still bought them It even made me feel for him somewhat which I didn't think was possible at one point.

Acting wise this movie is better than the other 2. Hayden got better, Natalie was good in her short role. Ewan, Ian and Frank Oz (yoda) were all very good in this film. Samuel L Jackson (mace) had a bigger role and showed why they picked him to be the "second" best Jedi.

Personal flaws to me: I already touched on the GG part, wasn't too crazy about the face reveal. It was ok, just very anti-climatic. Some of the Jedi deaths were a bit weak to me also. Again most of this is little stuff so it doesn't affect the movie to me.

Overall the movie was very good and I would rank it either tied for number two or at worst third on my list (the order being TESB, ANH/ROTS, ROTJ, TPM, AOTC). The plot was a little rushed it seemed, but nothing to hurt the pacing at all. It has some "flaws" to me but nothing that destroyed my viewing experience. I would give the movie a 8.5 or 9 out of 10. Easily the best of the PT.
