I am writing this blog because I have noticed something. I wonder if anybody else has dealt with or is dealing with this problem. If so, let me know.
I have a twelve year old son named Tom. I have noticed lately that he has some emotional moments- kind of like two Star Wars characters I know. Anakin and Luke. Tom can get quite angry-to the point that he screams at his brother and sister (who are seven and two respectively). Sometimes with my husband and me he gets so mad he storms up to his room and my husband has to yell at him to come back down and talk. Tom is a good kid- don't get me wrong. Most people find him a happy-go-lucky kind of guy. I know a lot of it is adolescence-his horomones are out of control. But he has anger management issues kind of like Anakin.
I also know that Tom can get increasingly frustrated with things. Sounds a lot like Luke. Tom finds that he wants to go here and there with his friends and he can't sometimes. He likes to hang out up at the game exchange shop or the library, which are ok sometimes- but not whenever he feels like it.
I kind of get the feeling I'm the diplomat in the family (Padme and Leia). My husband tries to help out, but sometimes even he can act like Anakin. Makes me wonder what life would have been like if Padme and Anakin had had their family like they had planned- before things got out of control with them.
