I recently have seen Star Wars characters reflected in my family. Sometimes it's a good thing, but sometimes it is not.
My oldest son, for example, reminds me of Anakin Skywalker. Remember the scene where Anakin is speaking to Padme while she's packing for Naboo? How he lashes out verbally and practically throws a hissy fit because he thinks Obi-wan and the Jedi are unfair to him? Let's just say that there was something jarjarjinks wanted and we told him to be patient. Well, he lashed out verbally in a similar way. Hmmmmmmm.............preteens. Go figure. My son is going to make life really interesting until he reaches adulthood.
Then there is padawan number two. He acts like Luke on Tatooine. Remember the scene where he is speaking to Threepio about how he wants to leave and see the galaxy? Kinda whiny, if you ask me (sorry, Mina-forgive me!). My son acts the same way if he can't have his way. Maybe it's awkward because he is the middle child, and his big brother has done a lot for him growing up.
Padawan number three I am not sure of. She is only two, so I am not sure how to relate a character to her. We shall have to wait and see. She's still going through the 'terrible two' phase.
Then there is my husband. Hansgirl3 is not the only one who married her own Han Solo. When I first met him he was kind of the rogue/ scoundrel type. Even today, I still see Han in him. And he knows it

.
Me, well I tend to be more like Padme or Leia. I have to be the level-headed negotiator in the family. Of course, there are times that diplomacy doesn't work. But I try to be the sensible one in this madhouse. It's hard. My temperament tends to be too sensitive. Oh, well, I try.
Anyhow, that's how my family stack up to the characters in our beloved GFFA. I hope you got a better insight into the world of vadersgirl.
