Cedar Point
Yesterday my hubby and I took the padawans to Cedar Point for a day of fun before they head off to school in a few weeks. A friend of our oldest padawan went as well. So we packed food for sandwiches into the cooler (food at amusement parks is unreal) and left for Sandusky OH.

I figured the older two boys, being teenagers, would spend the day on the rollercoasters and thrill rides. Everything from the Corkscrew to the Top Thrill Dragster. Nope. They had more fun being with the younger two in Camp Snoopy and Planet Snoopy (Cedar Point's newest attraction for the ones who can't ride the Big Kid Rides. Oh well:p They did go on the Corkscrew. I took my youngest boy for his first ever ride. He said it was a little scary but he liked it. All three boys also rode the Mine Ride. Unfortunately my hubby can't ride the rides because of his back surgery. But I know deep down that the looks on his padawans' faces was priceless regardless.

Our daughter spent her time in Camp Snoopy and Planet Snoopy. She got on the Woodstock Express (a roller coaster for little tots), the Cadillac Cars, and a few other rides they have. Some of them she wasn't sure about once it started moving, but once she got used to it she loved it!!:^O

We also paid a visit to Frontier Town and Frontier Trail, where things look like the Old West. We went into the Candle Shop where the kids were allowed to create their own candles, and even I purchased one. A very nice area to be in on a hot day because that's where all the shade is! ;)

And for my husband, no trip to Cedar Point would be complete without visiting the Fudge Shop. He has to get some every time we go. :^O

If we can, we are thinking of going back in October for Halloweekends, which this year run from September 12 to November 2. But we will have to see.

All in all, it was a great time with our padawans, and we completely enjoyed it.
