Well, unlike my last two, this is going to be a really short Behind The Scenes, since all I contributed to the winning entry for Ottegru Grey was his name. But my blog capacity is only 5% full, and I've gotta use up my allottment somehow, right?

This character, seen in the Galaxies Opera House with Tannon Praji and Romeo Treblanc, was a cameo by Visual Effects Supervisor Roger Guyett.

"Otegru Grey" is almost an anagram of "Roger Guyett"--there's one less "T". I thought it looked better with just the one. Apparently the WTS judges differed.

I'd chosen just one "T" so that it would be pronounced "ought-EGG-roo". But now that it has both, the correct pronounciation is anyone's guess--"OUGHT-eh-groo" perhaps?

Not that this really matters, but happily enough the body of the entry (by Nex: the T is Hott!! and magicofmyth2) was along the same general angle as my submission, which also featured him as Praji's bodyguard.
