What I'm about to dwell into, are just some thoughts on Vader and his reminiscence of his life, before the suit. This is something I've been wanting to do, for sometime now. It was only just this past weekend, that I decided to go for it, with a little added push from a dear friend.

Anakin, is now Vader, encased in darkness. The shell he wears to protect his scathed body and vital organs, is no more and nothing less than a prison. Succumed and consumed by the bleak, blackness of the Dark Side, he is as Obi-wan says, " More machine now, than man." Only in the end, does he see the Truth of the so called Power that controls the darkness of the Sith. Anakin had to fall, to lose it all. Now the only one that walks along side of Vader, is Anakin's shadow.

Vader will spend his days of limbo in darkness, scouring through space of his Empire. Interesting, Anakin's soul is lost and Vader spends his days, months, even years over seeing the construction of the Death Star on his Grand Imperial Cruiser; never leaving that blanket of darkness we call Space. The only time we see Vader step foot on an actual planet, is in ESB on Hoth. There, he is searching for Luke, his son.....or is he hoping to find someone to save him. To wake him up, from the nightmare he has lived for years. Hoping to amend what he has lost and destroyed.

Like Luke and Padme', I like to believe, that the good man that was Anakin, still harbored inside the armor, that was known as Vader. Mainly because, this would mean that he still believed in Hope, and that their love was truly a blessing. " Our baby is a blessing. " These words send chills thru my body, because Anakin had No IDEA what a Gift his son ( and Leia too) would truly be, not only to the galaxy, but to him. Some how, Vader knew, he felt something. This would explain his years in space, hiding from his past, that only haunted him. Only in the end did he REALLY SEE. With his own eyes, he looked upon the gift that love can only give. He saw it's true power shining bright, breaking thru the bleak darkness that surrounded his lost soul, and received hope's blessing; Luke.

So, there are my thoughts on, What Vader was thinking up until his redemtion with Luke. Hope I did it justice. As always, comments are welcome. MTFBWY.....Angel
