" Let her GO Anakin "
Well, I'm here. I told myself I wasn't going to do this....not yet anyway. Thanks to an interesting email I received this morning from my Master, Queen Mina, I am going forth with my feelings. I realize I have been rather sparse around these parts for about a week now, I have no excuse, other than I have come to a personal conclusion.....I need time to reflect.
So, I give you an entry, it's not my last, but there won't be anymore for awhile.

" Let her Go Anakin. " Obi-wan to Anakin on Mustafar.

This is the most heart-wrenching scene for me to watch, still to this very day I have a difficult time with it. It's the point where Anakin really struggles with his emotional feelings; He's afraid to let go of all he fears to lose ( Love) and yet he's just as afraid to hang on ( to her, Padme')

You see it plainly on his face, as he releases his grip and allows Padme's limp body to collapse to the ground. It was as if he was freed from a trance or spell, it was as if someone else had been inflicting the grasp on Padme' neck, not him. Then he shouts, " You turned her against me! " The truth behind it, really, was that Padme' hadn't turned against anyone; not Anakin nor Obi-wan. Anakin just couldn't face the truth, he didn't want to feel the hurt, the pain, or the agony of his own actions.

Think back to when Anakin held Shmi in his arms at the Tusken Camp, she told him,
" Now I am complete. " That single moment of serenity, was enough for her as a mother. Knowing that her son had become something wonderful; he had become significant to the galaxy.

See, what I'm getting at with the whole " he was afraid to hold on and yet afraid to let go " is that he had to experience life's circle; Love's creations.

As Vader, he still struggles with his old demons, for they still lurk behind the mask. It's not until Luke unmasks his true father, that Anakin can understand his Mother's contentment as her spirit left her battered body.
Looking thru his own eyes once more, he let go and placed his fate within the Force....
" You were right about me.....tell your sister ...you were right. "

To think, it took a man, a shattered soul, twenty years of sheer hell to see what LOVE truly is and to finally set things right. (Thanks Hansgirl:x )
