T.G.I.F. fellow bloggers! Hope everyone of you had a Fabulous Holiday Season and are starting off the New Year in good spirits.

I'm going thru a bit of a blogging withdrawal so please, bear with me. Lots of thoughts have been whirling around in my crazily busy mind lately and I just need to unleash them, well, some of them.

Ok, on with it, right? I've given a lot of thought to Obi-Wan's statement of truth to Padme` when he visits her in her apartment before confronting Anakin on Mustafar.
"...Deceived by a Lie, we all were."

Its interesting to me because, there are two lies to consider.
1.) Anakin's & Padme`'s vow to one another, that completely goes against the Jedi Code.

2.) Palpatine's lie to Anakin and the entire Republic, that he is indeed the Sith Lord they are looking for.

Really, if you break them down, both have DECEIVED the entire Republic. For one, very brief moment, you can see the thought of that first one listed above, on Padme`s face.
" We'll be living a lie. I couldn't do that, could you, Anakin? Could you live like that? " PADME` AOTC

" No. Your right. It would destroy us. " ANAKIN AOTC

Still, with all these thoughts, spinning around in her mind, she stays true to her heart and protects Anakin, her love; for he and the baby(ies) she carries are all that matter at this point in her life. For everything else is lost, her Republic, Democracy, the Senate, and even the sacred Jedi Order is in shambles. As Obi-Wan leaves with no more or no less than an apology, "I'm so sorry."
Padme` is left alone to contemplate all that was said and all that has happened in the past 24 hours or so.

Thinking back to the evening before, before the fire at the temple, she remembers and feels the sensations of that peculiar phenomenon that took place between her and Anakin. There, alone in her apartment, she felt Anakin's presence as if he were right there, in the room with her. For an instant, it was as if she could see the walls of the Jedi Council Chamber.
Anakin was there, she knew it, for she...felt it! That's when she got up and approached her window and looked across the skyline and cast her sights on the Jedi Temple. She welcomed the sensations and the Force took hold, fully. She could feel him, his love for her and his...FEAR. Padme` hadn't realized how traumatized and consumed he was by his visions of her dying. Yet, her only FEAR was that Anakin didn't know how much she TRULY, DEEPLY, LOVED him and always would no matter what the future held for her. Its possible that she recanted her solem vow, the one she spoke on Geonosis, only this time she changed one word. " I Truly, Deeply LOVE You," as Padme' spoke, the words echoed in Anakin's mind. "Before I die, I want you to know."

As the force connection fades, Anakin's tears roll down his cheeks and he is alone, as he would always be alone. Always and everywhere, once Padme` was gone. As Anakin leaves for the Senate building,somewhat unconsciously, Padme` vigilantly looks on at the Temple.

DECEIVED BY A LIE?

Once in Palpatine's private office, Mace and Sidious exchange rage, worded in malice and deceit. At least from a certain point of view. Anakin is now more confused than ever, for Mace says the same line about Palpatine that Palpatine said about Dooku,"He is too dangerous to be kept alive." Makes one wonder, " If a Jedi Master and a Sith Lord can make the same argument, were they really so different? " This could have quite possibly been the thoughts of our confused, Chosen One, Anakin. right?

At this point, nothing else mattered,not the Jedi, LIGHT or DARK, the Sith, none of it. Only Padme`. "I will do whatever you ask, just help me save Padme`s life. I can't live without her. "

What's even more twisted, is that, throughout the entire Saga, no one is more DECEIVED than Anakin Skywalker. For his entire journey thru the Force has been a mirage of deception. The one and only truth about his life that I can see thru all the lies, secrets, and deceit, is that he began life and lived it the same, up until his death when he became one with the Force. He was a Slave.

Sorry for the long entry. Lots of thoughts and so little time.
