" Just being around her again is......intoxicating. " Anakin, AOTC
Intoxicating, indeed!

One thing comes to mind, when I think about this bold statement that our young, handsomely striking Jedi makes...an old Sith phrase, "
There is no peace, only passion. "(Darth Bane)
What? Like you
really thought I would let this opportunity slip by...LOL

Come on, it's me! Your feisty, fun loving, community Aphrodite; ~Angel~!

So step inside, grab a fluffy pillow or two, make yourselves cozy and comfy on my moon of Viago. Ready? Ok, LILWA's ..it's Squeeeeeeeeeeee Time!
After a decade of Jedi training; consisting of book studies, sparring and learning saber technique, focusing, meditation, and the usual reminder...
"Anakin, be mindful of your thoughts. They can betray you." Our little boy from Tatooine has grown up, oh boy, has
he! Now a young man, full of power that grows wildly, untamed, at an uncontrollable speed. As if that isn't enough, he has been distracted over those years, lost in daydreams about a young handmaiden he once met, a handmaiden who turned out to be a beautiful and vibrant Queen no less! Anakin is undoubtably different from the other Jedi padawans that are his peers, unlike them he is competitive, always reaching, and beyond all else...he is
passionate.
Passion, a Sith trait, is it not

Could this be what alarmed the Jedi High Council all those years ago? Possibly.
"The boy is dangerous." Hmmm...could this be what they were getting at, Anakin's passionate demeanor? It's painfully obvious that he has an irregular high level of confidence in himself, especially for a Jedi. "He has become arrogant." Indeed, but is he not their
"chosen one"? Given a label or title such as this and not too mention hearing "
It is your destiny " in an everyday, ordinary conversation, one might become
" Big Headed" and Full of Himself.
"A day hasn't gone by when I haven't thought of you. " Whoa! Not if that isn't a powerfully passionate statement, I don't know what is?

Ok, for the record, I wouldn't mind someone like Anakin saying those exact words to me! Trust me, those eyes and those hypnotizing stares....wouldn't make me
uncomfortable...not in all the GFFA!!

To be all a man sees, wants, and ultimately craves to possess, especially when the man who seeks this from/with you is a powerful, skillful, force using Jedi with unbelievable
abilities and breathtaking looks (ahem..still with me? LOL).
So...getting back to Anakin and his Passions, one might say that Anakin looked upon the seraphic Padme` thru
Rosey Glasses.

That probably what he felt, that strong sensation he had when within her soothing presence, was not Love, but more of a desire or lust if you will.
Of course, you know me, I'm all about the Romance. You do believe that, right?

I mean, isn't it possible that Anakin felt both? I mean, why not?
Can't an individual feel both, Love and passsion (attraction) for another? Ok, LOL...probably not in our society. Not that I'm putting our human morals down or anything, it's just that today's times are completely different from the GFFA and the days of Romance. Sad, but true. For me, I like to believe that Anakin was in Love with Padme`,
passionately in Love. He would have traveled to the ends of the galaxy to be with her ....and I think in the end he did just that.
They Ignited the Stars!
Happy A N A K I N Week!!
