Hello Blogsville! I hope all of you had a Wonderful Easter Weekend, indulging incessantly in that sweet, silky, cocoa colored delight we all know and love; Chocolate!

Well, I am here today with some pretty exciting, good news! LOL..at least to me, it is. Hopefully you'll all agree with me, as I share my joy with you, my Star Wars Family.

We all know that Lucasfilm and it's affiliates are busy everyday now, getting ready to Celebrate *thirty years* of Star Wars at Celebration IV! It seems every week, they display or post something to wet our palates in order for us to anticipate this event even more; if that's at all possible at this point? LOL...

Little by little, they have been "previewing" the ART that will be available at the CON. These pieces are going to be the most "commemorative" and "memorable" Art that Star Wars has yet to offer to it's timeless fandom that spreads World Wide. Some of the well renown artists on the list to deliver these bedazzling works of Art to our forever expanding community are: Cat Staggs, Grant Gould, Terese Nielsen, Tom Hodges, Joe Corroney, and Steve Anderson; just to name a few of the greatest of the Great Talents that have been and are working diligently around the clock to please their fans (Us).

So what exciting news, you ask? Well, I'll tell ya. As I said above, Lucasfilm has been releasing some "previews" to the public. One of which, was Mr. Anderson's beautiful piece of Anakin and Vader. It is electrifying, this piece is drenched in color! From Vader's glowing, crimson red saber to Anakin's hypnotic, gleaming blue blade....completely enriched...mesmerizing.

Well, I had the pleasure of talking with Mr. Anderson thru Myspace, he is a wonderful and generous man to say the least. After leaving countless commentaries on his past pieces of phenomenal art work, he in turn left me a surprising compliment as well. He, Mr. Anderson, has taken the time from his busy schedule to actually read a segment or two (not really sure of the exact amount) of my "Forbidden Love" fan-fiction. Come to find out, he liked it! He liked it enough to ask "Me" if I would consider writing a caption / Introduction to his Celebration 4 piece! Of course I accepted, this was/is like a "Dream Come True" for me. As a good friend said to me after hearing my good news, " You have taken your first steps into a larger world." ( Gotta love the Geek in all of our Star Wars friends, LOL) Ok, so without further ado....here it is:

As an adoring fan of Star Wars, I couldn't be any closer to my one true passion than I am right now (well, maybe a little closer if I were to act along-side Hayden Christensen!).

As a hopeful and someday, inspiring writer, I am truly humbled and honored to have been given such a wonderful gift.....a "once in a lifetime opportunity." Thank you, Steve Anderson, you have brought me so close to something I hold so dear to my heart.
