What exactly was Dooku getting at here? Ok peoples, besides the obvious definition of fear, shall we? Fear : Anxiety caused by real or possible danger, pain, etc. Fright { sudden attack} More obvious reasons, pertaining to Star Wars related issues. We all know that Master Yoda and Master Windu (to name a few) sensed that "fear" in Anakin as well. So that was no secret. Still, that would be too easy for someone of Dooku's caliber and intelligence for him to state something so common. Someone like Count Dooku was one for encouraging verbal stimulation or agitation in his enemies, he favored a sort of "battle of Wits." Only with this situation, he ended up painting himself into an corner Well, so to speak In all reality, pointing out Anakin's flaws, namely Fear, he turned the tables of the Sith's most powerful tool on himself and inflicted his own demise.

Sometimes in a moment of panic we expose another's flaws or so called fears to protect or camoflauge our very own. It's only natural, I suppose. It's too late for Dooku, he can't side step or peri his way out of that one. I guess to put it simply, Dooku was a coward and hid behind his fancy words.
