Hmmm...nuthin' smelly about a Birthday teehee
So before I get started here, Happy Birthday ESB

"Your tauntaun'll freeze before you reach the first marker!" Tigran Jamiro

"Then I'll see you in hell!" Han Solo

A very short conversation between Tigran Jamiro and Han Solo, but none the less, an important one. It's what seals the deal for Han to test his fate against Hoth's deathly winter tundra, inorder to find his friend, Luke. In Han's mind, he'll find Luke or die trying. Not sure if Tigran knew it when he said it, but his "obvious observation" concerning the freezing temperatures was enough to "fuel" Han's tingly temptatious adventure side; especially where his friend was concerned.

While Han was tempted by Tigran's serious comment, myself as the viewer, was a bit on the worried side. Let's face it, Hoth is worse than Buffalo NY during Blizzard season ... and I have experienced some rather frigid, death threatening weather in my days. With that said, not too sure I would have attempted to go on out in the middle of it. Not without proper recourses of course

Now I know this is a very "small" part in the movie, very small, almost forgetable Is there anything I think could have been done differently or portrayed another way by, Tigran? Not really, As a deck officer, I believe he was out ranked by Han. Honestly, Tigran might have elaborated too far already when saying " Sir, the temperature's dropping too rapidly." Then again, all of these concerns for his attendants on base could have been what led him to higher ranks in the future of the GFFA.

All in all, Less is More at least in this particular scene. That brief dialogue between the two set the stage for a far more greater feat, Luke's recovery from the GFFA nature (aka, mother nature) and Luke's discovery of Master Yoda. So as I digress, may I just say,
Happy 30th Birthday ESB!! Looking forward to celebrating with all of you in Florida...oh yes, I will be in attendance
