I used to think I was hard-core. Really hard-core. I had got a Star Wars test from my grandma and I always scored 99/100 (darn you Yodas gimmer stick! Every time). Then I came to SW.com aaaaaaaand I wasn't so hard-core anymore.
Ok, so I know my facts. More then the average movie-goers but man, some of the discussions in the forums were deep indeed. Such as the
The Empire are actually the good guys and
Boba Fett ain't so cool. Get over it.
And then there was the EU, a whole new realm. Incredible I tell ya.
As the Star Wars Galaxy grew, my hard-coreness shrunk
It was kind of an eye-opener. Especially since I thought I would own everyone *oopsie*
Now when I see these fans queing at Leicester Square in they're Jedi attire, it doesn't really shrink my hard-core feeling, it just makes me glad that I'm not so hard-core. I would hate to stand in the rain in soggy Jedi robes. Sometimes I think it's borderline crazy, like the women that took 2 weeks off from work! I love Star Wars, but I wouldn't put my life on hold for it.
I'm a little peeved that I'm Waa Dub9 and not just Waa Dub. I was confused at the starting up thing. Oh well. It sounds like a X-Wing Pilot. Which is cool
Oh yeah, I'm going different. Instead of saying "Oooh, new blogg" I'm posting something serious
This was a bit brief, but it's late. I might come back to hard-coreness one day. Or not. We'll see.
