Battlefront single mode can be exciting!
I see in most discussion that people say that the single play mode of Battlefront is boring. Well, all I can say that of course it is boring when you don't try to do anything exciting! So here I am to save the day and give you guys some suggestions on how to make single player for Battlefront much more action packed.

Bespin Platforms:

This one works best when playing as the Republic.

Make sure you spawn near a Republic Gunship. Preferably as a Clone Trooper or a Jet Trooper since you're going need the fire power. Climb into the Gunship and load her up with the bots that are in the near proximity. Now you can do two things. Either you can blast the two CIS turrets facing you (because they can get you from that distance) or you run the gauntlet, the latter being of course the more action packed

Of course, on the other side there's two other turrets but you can't do anything about them. Just land as quickly possible and tell your men to get out. Of course, being bots, they'll climb out and then back in again. By this time the nearest turret would have zoomed in on them and blown the Gunship up. This will of course leave you alone but wanting action, this won't necesarily be a problem. The next thing you must do is secure the other dock so you won't get attacked from two directions. After that, if you're a Jet Trooper, fly up to the (hopefully) dismantled turret and battle it out for the control room.

Rhen Var Harbor:

You can either be Rebel Alliance or CIS for this one.

This one is pretty simple. Battle it out in the Ice Caves. Close quarter fighting, very intense. You should expect to die a few times before you make a succesfull breakthrough and secure the caves. After that, advance to the Fort like structure at the beginning of the caves. Take it and then steal the Imperial/Republican tanks so you can wreck havoc behind the lines

Mos Eisley:

Again, either Rebel Alliance or CIS.

This is simple but action packed. Begin in the backstreets which are situated next to the docking bay. From there, turn left and advance up the street. Since you often spawn first, you'll most likely meet the enemy head-on alone, to start with. Take them out, advance and take out their turret. Keep close to right wall since the enemy has a turret on the roof. From there on it will be pretty intense fighting on the streets. If you're good and managed to push the enemy back to the Cantina (which they've surely taken over), try to take the Slave Quarters. This means a lot of grenades and close quarter fighting. When you've managed that, try to take the spawn point close to the Cantina or the Cantina. Whichever you like.

Hoth:

There's only really one side you should play on Hoth and that's the Empire.
First off, start by one of the AT-AT. Then it's just to run to the first Rebel base. Conquer it by using their own turrets against them. Now don't run to the shield generator but get going to the Rebel base opposite the first one.
Stock up on some grenades and get going because over there you'll be forced to use grenades and take cover in the trenches. What you should do over there is too get a turret and blast the many Rebels there. It's the only way to secure the base and get into Echo Base, where the fighting is at its most intense

Kashyyyk Docks:

This only works when you're a Jet Trooper for the Republic.

Start off on one of the platforms and fly down to the landing beach. There you'll have to defend it from the CIS, because usually they get there first. Blast away until you have enough friends around you to defend the landing beach. Now you fly over to one of the piers and by doing that you'll divert attention from the landing beach. Stay on it and push forward and try to take it. If you get bogged down on one of the piers, just fly up to the platforms and then drop down behind the enemy.

That is all I could think of. 5 levels of the 16 does seem a bit too little but it does work and at least for me, it took a while for the novelty to wear off. Maybe you guys have other ways of spicing up these levels or the levels I didn't mention. In that case, I'd be glad to hear your ideas.
