The ultimate-super-deluxe-reunion-tour-boxed version of
Star Wars Galaxies is in
stores today. Now that you've seen EPIII, how about throwing yourself into the
Star Wars universe and making new friends, racing speeders or becoming a Jedi? If you want to get into
Star Wars at a new and immersive level (immersive is a fake word, I know), LucasArts has stuffed all three of the Galaxies titles into one nifty trilogy-esque package for your online gaming enjoyment. For less than 30 bucks (one penny less to be exact), you get An Empire Divided (...the original game), Jump to Lightspeed (...you get to fly starships with your buddies, 'nuf said) and Rage of the Wookiees (...tons of new quests and adventures on the planet of Kashyyyk). The boxed version of the game also includes an exclusive in-game vehicle, the Episode III
BARC Speeder.
So, I keep referring to the "boxed" version, which implies that there is something "unboxed" out there roaming around on the loose. If you already have An Empire Divided, you can snag Rage of the Wookiees via
digital download (...are there any other kind of downloads other than digital? hmm...). If this is you, your download purchase of Rage of the Wookiees also includes the
Varactyl as an exclusive mount (yes,
that Varactyl, like the one Obi-Wan rides in EPIII). You'll be fast, you'll be cool, you'll RULE THE GALAXY!*
What else...well, you can create your own character (twilek, human, trandoshan, etc...), pick a profession that suits you (rebel pilot, artisan, medic, etc...), fight fierce battles, and best of all, meet and hang out with thousands of other people who live-love-breathe
Star Wars.
If you want to learn more about Rage of the Wookiees, check out the
new section of our Galaxies site.
The Total Experience, it's all the Rage
...sorry, couldn't resist.
