Confusing the OT and PT

I knew that my wife was a Star Wars fan when I met her. We had watched the OT many times together and TPM (It was the only Prequel out at the time). I took her to the theater to see AOTC, and we have seen it many times on DVD now.

What's with all the religous stuff in the Cantina?

This is just me, ranting about all the religous chatter in the Cantina. I have just one question: Why? I mean honestly, do you think people are going to change thier religous beliefs after reading a Star Wars message board? I just don't get the point.

One of my favorite recurring themes in the OT is "It's not my fault!" I think this is one of the greatest points about the OT and should have been included in the PT. It creates humor and makes the heros much more realistic.
