Those of you who read yesterday's blog know of the excitement leading up to the championship game last night... the anticipation, the lack of sleep.

Well, imagine being about a mile from the field last night and getting a phone call from one disappointed 10 year old telling you that the game was canceled.

CANCELED! I couldn't believe it!

Apparently, the city decided that yesterday would be a great day to finish tearing up the field driveway leaving no-where to park for the game. The coaches had no choice but to cancel the game due to this oversight by the city.

Needless to say, they are frantic to not only find a time to reschedule the game as many of the girls are on vacation next week but also a place to actually play the game as the normal field is going to be closed indefinitely....

This is where the fun begins!
