Star Wars In Concert
Okay, here it goes: A blog entry in ten minutes.
I was almost done when this bucket of bolts shut down randomly.
And I'm so determined to write about ithe concert that I've used all of this time that should have gone into my science report and poster for this.
So...Star Wars In Concert...the event most of you have probably already herad more than enough about. I was there on October 4 for the 2:00 show and it was awesome. Also, it was my very first Star Wars event, so I was even more thrilled!

I was practically jumping up and down and lauging by the time my dad and I were in line. I'm like that. I was absolutely taken away when we entered...the place was jam packed with so many people, most of them in costumes of Star Wars shirts (finally, a time where I'm not the only one) and people were talkig about random Star Wars stuff that I have always needed someone to talk to about!

The exhibit was awesome! I have pictures of me with every single little thing that was on display there. I could have stared at some of those for half an hour each to closely examine this detail and that. One of my favorites was Han Solo in carbonite. There were a few people from the 501st and one or two from the Rebel Legion walking around, too.

If you plan on going and you want to buy something from the merchandising tables...start saving, because the least expensive things were 20 dollars - that was only the mugs. I had to use my favorite mind tricks to get my dad to buy one of the giant programs for an early holiday gift :) . I also got a t-shirt.

Then, the show itself - the best part! I was thrilled when the orchestra began to play! It was just so loud and real, not to mention that they were playing my favorite music! The croud was very enthusiastic, cheering for almost everything, inclued every-other sentence of narration. I came to really like the Asteroid Field piece, and I got more thrilled about Battle of the Heroes and Duel of the Fates. The movie clips were put together quite well; I felt like I relived every single movie in those two hours. And the lighting/fire/smoke was fantastic! I loved the green lights for the Asteroid Field and the fire during Battle of the Heroes.

The narration was fantastic! Anthony Daniels is so cool! It was exciting for him to be so close to me...and right in front of my face! He used all sorts of humor and techniques to get us thrilled and partially retell the story of Anakin Skywalker. I had some favorite narrations: The one for "Droids!" and the one for the Asteroid Field.

Overall, I'd love to do it again! And those 30 dollars tickets acctually gave us really good seats - just a few rows below us and the guys on the chairs on the floor were in front of us. It's pretty good for some girl and her dad that are both on a budget.

So...
BE SURE TO GO IF YOU HAVE THE CHANCE!

By the way, all of the music, movie clips, and narration are on a DVD that comes with the ROTS soundtrack. The narration just seems more dull and it's not as grand or real, but it's good for those who want to know what music is played and what the clips are like.

Wow...This took only twelve minutes! B-) Too bad I've edited it twice because of spelling errors!
