 | Spider-Man 3: The Venom Conundrum |
Hello fellow bloggers. Today I'd like to take a few minutes of your time to tell my interpretation of the new movie Spider-Man 3. There are gonna be some spoilers ahead, since I saw it last night on the IMAX screen, which I must say was excellent.
Now, onto the main part of this blog, my problem with Venom. Venom is an awesome character, who alone could be the main villain of a Spidey flick, but I was seriously unimpressed with how they put him in. He showed up in the last 30 minutes of the movie, and it really seemed like they just tacked him on, well because they felt he was a good character, and wanted him to be in the movies before they stopped making them. But this, one of my fav Spidey villains only getting 30 mins was bad enough, but also his look kind of left me unimpressed. His face was flat against his head, instead of the tell-tale lizard like jut that we, or at least I, know and loved. He wasn't impervious to Spidey's sense. Also he was never called Venom at all. Sure, it said it in the credits, but to an average viewer he was probably just Eddie Brock w/ Symbiote. Oh well.
The movie was good, just think they could have done him better.
