Shroud of the Dark Side

The shroud of the Dark Side has fallen...
It pains me to admit it... but my sister beat me at Star Wars Trivial Pursuit. Again.

To be fair, I had all my wedges and was going for the middle. But than I got an obscure question and on the next turn she got her last wedge AND went to the middle in one move. And everyone was really hard on me during the game too - I got a question 'wrong' because I said "Chancellor Palpatine" and the quote in question was when he was only "Senator" - but still. I've got some studying to do.

If only there were a Trivial Pursuit for the EU. Of course, then no one I know in real life would play with me... ;)

Ah well, there's always next time, right? I joked with her that she's not allowed to ask me continuity questions for her fanfic anymore... I'll just tell her to ask herself, as she's now the two-time champion! Hehe.

In other news, I worked a lot on my super-secret website project today. It was cool. This is going to be my first real big 'fansite' type site. It's coming along well (I did some graphics and wrote some content) until I ran into a problem regarding images and not knowing who certain characters are in them. Hmm. But this is going to be quite cool when I finally get it done! Stay tuned.

Speaking of websites, I finished my fanlisting for Aurebesh! I'm looking forward to seeing if other people actually know Aurebesh. Writing and reading it has become a hobby of mine as of late. :)

I'd also like to announce that I can no longer say I've never written fanfic. I've written 213 words - part of a random scene... just to see if I could. I've discovered that writing is extremely difficult and I have no idea how people do it. So yeah, that was an interesting experiment, but it's safe to say I'll never be a fanfic writer! ;) Though my sister seems to think otherwise... And yeah, her Naboo Priest fanfic is done (it's 16000 words!) and I hope to give her feedback, get her to edit it a bit, and get it online for public consumption soon. :) It was very cool the way she weaved everything into RotS! And the motivations of her main character (the Naboo Priest who married Anakin & Padme) were very interesting. See, I never would have thought of that... let alone be able to write it. :) Yeah, more to come on this.

Ok, I think that's all I had to say! Peace out.
