Lots of Clones
Long time no entry. I've been kinda busy and haven't been doing a whole lot of SW-related stuff, that's my excuse. ;)

Anyways, I just wanted to show off my cool clone action figures. :D After my whining about how you can't get squat in Canada, Dawn was nice enough to buy figures for me and ship 'em here. :) So I have four new figures now: Jango, Cody, Utapau clone, and Bly. Yay, lots of clones!

(Picture!)
Figures from left to right: Bacara, Mr. Dude, Bly, Orange, Jango, Cody, Grievous, Asajj

They're all lined up on the shelf above my desk, so I can see 'em when I glance up from my computer monitor. :)

I wanted to make up a nickname for my generic Utapau clone trooper, but couldn't think of anything cool. Then I realised I thought of him as "Orange" and it just stuck. So that's his name. :) That's kinda how "Mr. Dude" got his name too. ;)

Now I just need a Scorch! I'd rather not do the eBay thing because... well, blah. And I'm not super-desperate. But I've got a few people keeping an eye out for Scorch for me, so maybe it'll pay off eventually. :) I think I have enough clones now (I'm really not all that much of an action figure person) but I would like Scorch still. (Actually I want Fixer more, but he doesn't exist yet so I'll settle for Scorch...)

Well, while I'm here, bit of a more general update. I don't have Betrayal because I don't buy hardcovers, but I've spoiled myself for it muchly and what I know sounds SO cool. :) I can't wait for Bloodlines!!

I'm re-reading Triple Zero again. Hehe. :D I badly need to update clonecommandos.net too. Especially the fanfic; I have ten stories to add. :o Seeing as the next couple weeks will be busy (my brother's getting married on the 24th, and I'm moving at the start of July), I need to get that done ASAP. (And I'm mostly telling you guys about this need because that way I'm more likely to actually do it!)

Guess that's it for now. Sorry for the slightly-less-than-compelling entry, but meh.

PS: This is a bit belated now, but yay for me being special!! I agree that TIE Fighter was a quality entry. I need to get back to writing about the old games. In fact, I've really been wanting to install & play X-Wing Alliance again (flying through the rings in the salvage yard at top speed = the biggest adrenaline rush I've ever had while playing a game) so maybe if I do that, I'll write about it. :)

You run clonecommandos.net?! Wow! That's a great site! One of my first blogs was 'bout it!

(Not much of a blog to boast about, but hey! It was my second one.)

Sweet!:)

cool pics etc....I always love checking out other folks collections...I have a picture here of my Clone Army shelf ...unlike you, I managed to find a Scorch but so far have never seen a Cody!

I hear there will be more of both of them coming, so hopefully we both get what we need!

Well, I'm glad you have Bacara, since I saw like 4 of them at the store yesterday. I almost picked one up for you, but then chickened out at the end.

I already have a Bacara. I should take pictures, but so far I have:

Commander Gree
Green ARC trooper
Commander Cody
Commander Bly
Commander Bacara
Utapau Orange trooper
Utapau Shadow trooper
501st blue trooper
Scorch
Imperial Shock trooper
AOTC red trooper

I did have to buy Scorch on Ebay, but the guy cut me some slack on shipping to ship it loose ]:)

So, are you a spread-collector rather than an army-builder then? I'm just trying to find a couple more clone troopers for my Gunship squad.

BTW, does anyone else here have the Riot Control Stormtrooper from back in '97? It's the one with a teyser, maniple and spring-loaded jetpack. I bought it in Hong Kong and I've never seen another, although theforce.net does have a listing for it.

my clone army is only nine figures 0.0.......thats how hard it is to find clones here in Canada....and to make things worse only 7 of those were bought FROM Canada...my sis bought me a bacara and shadow pilot from the US.

I'm in Nova Scotia and I have Cody, Utapau clone (yes, mine has his own fanmade name too) and Scorch (who I found in Zellers buried under a pile of Superman stuff!)

Cool Troopers!
I discovered your site just today while looking for some Republic Commando MP3s and I have to say, nice place you got there. Then I saw the link to your blog and the day got even better! Really liked the medley by the way.:)

With all the various custom armor of the ROTS era clones, I was kinda disappointed that they didn't come out with more "army buildier" sets of action figures.
