Of Bridges and Ordnance
I Republic Commando-ed it up again today, for a short time anyways. But considering for some reason I always get the most bored while playing the Kashyyyk campaign, that I played through two whole chapters (The Bridge at Kachirho and The Wookiee Resistance) is cool. :) Overall, very very fun.

I owned the Bridge chapter - a 'bridge too far' indeed. :p I think I only died once, and that's good because it took about a dozen tries to clear the bridge of bad dudes in my last game. (Darn turrets!) Much better this time.

The second chapter was another story. The one level called Live Ordnance - grrr, SUCH a hard level. It also didn't help that I kept forgetting to quicksave right before I entered the Room of Death™ and had to load my autosave instead. But dude. I got two control panels sliced right away, sent someone to demo the super evil SBD dispensor, but no matter what they'd always die. I tried to cover them, but there were way too many SBDs and trandos. As soon as the bugs showed up, several of my team members were out and it was just a matter of time before they got me too. I could never get the dispensor demoed in time. But the time I *finally* won, I basically became the squad medic, ordering them to slice and demo and kill everything while I wandered around, hoping the SBDs wouldn't see me, and revived them all. :)

(Aside note: "Ordnance" is an extremely cool word. Too bad it's not the kind of word you can generally get into every day conversation... at least not with my boring life.)

That's what my screencam captured last (I leave it running while I play!), and I thought it was a cool shot. :) That was when the evil Grievous guard was beating on Scorch, Fixer was giving him some, and I was finishing him off! Pwned. ]:)

Oh, and in case you had no clue what I was talking about above... some of my RepCom terminology/slang/shortforms.

K, I'm out.
