Empire Strikes Back Again
I was wathcing Empire last night for the eight millionth time. Every time I watch that movie it gets better and better.

Well anyway, I'm sure other people have pointed this out, but don't you think Yoda seems a bit... not right in the head? Has 20 years on a swamp planet rotted his brain? Especially when he's digging through Luke's stuff. He just doesn't seem like the great warrior he was back in the glory days of the Jedi. Not even by a stretch. Maybe he had always had a strange sense of humor, but the times were so dark that he never used it. Oh well.

More things I noticed. When Han, Leia, Threepio, and Chewie are all inside the Space Slug's mouth, and then they go outside and only put on oxygen masks, they would have frozen to death! Even if being inside the Slug kept them alive, they thought they were in a cave, so they would have put them on, however pointless it would have been.

When the Millenium Falcon turns around to go latch onto the Star Destroyer, the officers in the bridge duck. It isn't as if ducking would have saved their lives if the ship crashed, because they would be in the vaccuum of space. I know it was a reflex, but you'd think they would be calm in a situation like that, being Imperial Officers.

When Han cuts open the Tauntaun to put Luke inside, does he dig all the organs out? If he didn't, It didn't seem that there was enough room in that Tauntaun.

In the 2004 version (the one I watched) is the person who plays the Emporer Ian McDiarmid? I don't think it said so in the credits. I know he did in RotJ, but I wasn't sure.

And my last comment about Empire, it marks the return of Yoda and Palpatine. They were two of the main characters in the PT, so why did they skip ANH?

If you have anything to add, please do.
