My Thoughts About Anakin
Everyone nowadays on the blogs is going on and on about how Anakin isn't really evil, and how the way he tried to save Padme was so selfless.

First of all, let's establish that I'm a dude, so this is from a guy's point-of-view.

I don't think we should pity Anakin. It was his fault Padme died. I don't care what some people think, it was his fault she died.

But let us start from the beginning. In Phantom Menace Anakin obviously has a crush on Padme, but she seems to just be talking to him because they're both kids, even though she's the queen of Naboo. So then they defeat the Trade Federation (both on different battlefields), and then don't see each other for TEN years. Anakin is a very persistant person if he still has a crush on her.

In Episode 2, it seemed too obvious to me that he was evil. The way he talked, the way he SLAUGHTERED INNOCENT CHILDREN, and his aggressive fighting (even if he did suck) against Count Dooku. And if he'll "always be that little boy [Padme] knew on tatooine," why is she in love with him? If I were her, I would have just forgotten about him. I mean, after ten years, you're bound to forget about a little kid that had a crush on you. I think he did use a Jedi Mind Trick on her, because she would have to be pretty weak-minded to fall in love with him.

Okay, so episode three is three years later. He and Padme are married (AGAINST THE FREAKING JEDI CODE WHICH HE WAS RAISED BY) and she's pregnant. I could have said all manner of nasty jokes there, but I'm not like that, so I won't. Well on the Invisible hand he proves how evil he is, by killing Dooku. Dooku didn't kill any Jedi (aside from Sifo-Dyas, but they didn't know about that), so he didn't deserve death. Well I won't say that Dooku didn't kill any Jedi, because I haven't read any Clone Wars EU stuff, but I stand by my belief that Anakin shouldn't have killed him. So then Anakin doesn't do anything else worth talking about, until he finds out that Palpy is the Sith Lord. If Anakin wasn't evil, he would never have trusted him. He would have taken him into custody, and only killed him if he really had to. But he joins forces with Palpy. Prove to me that's not evil, and I owe you a coke. I know what you're thinking. Anakin only joined him to save his wife. Well what I say is if he had done the right thing, he wouldn't have a wife in the first place! So now he's being evil, by not doing anything about it. Then he kills Mace (or, allows him to be killed). He feels remorse, but not enough. He killed one of his oldest friends, to save the worst man in the galaxy. Prove to me that's not evil, and I owe you two cokes.

Need I go further? Yes? Okay.

So now he's Darth Vader. He kills all of his friends. Every single Gorramn one of them. So now he kills the CIS. I have no problem with that. They deserved death. So his wife comes, and Obi-Wan sneaks on board. He sees Obi-Wan, and throttles his own f***ing wife! Prove to me that's not evil, you know the rest. So now he tries to kill the man who is the closest thing he ever had to a father. And now he loses all his limbs, and catches on fire. He gets a metal suit, kills the remaining Jedi (how did he forget Yoda?!?!) and the OT proves my point even further.

So my final words: Anakin is not a good man. He does not deserve pity. Him joining Palpy to save his wife's life was a very selfish act. He is EVIL.
